A 5ft Mid-Size Table Tennis Table in Black — 152x76x70cm Play Size, Folds to 76x76x12cm, E1 MDF Top, Steel Frame, Removable Net 78x12cm, Safety Locks, Includes 2 Paddles and 3 Balls

A 5ft mid-size table tennis table in black, measuring 152cm long, 76cm wide and 70cm tall in play position. The playing surface is E1-class MDF for a consistent and even ball bounce. The steel frame is water, rust and corrosion resistant for indoor use. The table folds flat to 76L x 76W x 12H cm for transport and storage, with safety locks securing the folded position. The net measures 78L x 12H cm and is removable, allowing the table to be used as a dining or activity table when the net is detached. Supplied ready to play with two paddles and three balls. Recommended for use on flat surfaces. Item Ref: A90-404V00BK.

Why You’ll Love It

Folds to 76x76x12cm with safety locks securing the folded position, allowing one person to move and store the table in a car boot, cupboard, hallway or under a bed without requiring a second person to carry or hold it — Full-size table tennis tables at 274x152cm are too large to move without dismantling and cannot be stored in most domestic spaces, while even compact folding tables at their play dimensions require significant floor area that cannot be used for anything else — the 76x76x12cm folded footprint of this table allows it to stand upright against a wall in a hallway, slide under a standard bed frame, or stand in a corner of a room between uses, and the safety locks hold the halves together securely so one person can carry or wheel the table into position without the two halves swinging open during transit.
E1-class MDF playing surface provides a consistent, even bounce across the full table area, reducing the unpredictable ball behaviour that occurs on lower-quality board materials where surface density varies across the sheet — Lower-grade board materials used in budget table tennis tables have inconsistent density across the sheet, which causes the ball to bounce at different heights from different areas of the table and makes it difficult for players to develop reliable return strokes because the ball’s behaviour changes depending on where it lands — E1-class MDF is produced to a consistent density specification across the sheet, providing a predictable and uniform bounce from every point on the playing surface that allows players to develop and practise consistent stroke mechanics.
Removable net converts the table into a flat 152x76cm surface for dining or activities when table tennis is not being played, making the table a functional piece of furniture rather than a dedicated single-use item that occupies floor space when not in use — A fixed-net table tennis table can only function as a games table, meaning the floor space it occupies is unavailable for any other purpose when not being used for table tennis — removing the net from this table leaves a flat, stable surface at 70cm height that can be used as a dining table for up to four people, a craft and activity table for children, or a temporary workspace, allowing the same floor space to serve multiple household functions and reducing the cost-per-use of the table compared with a games-only surface.
