Adams Allsorts Sponsors Rising Darts Star Charlie Fairclough
Share
We're thrilled to announce that Adams Allsorts is proudly sponsoring one of our very own talented young athletes – 16-year-old darts player Charlie Fairclough!
Charlie has been making waves in the darts community with exceptional skill and dedication to the sport. As an up-and-coming player with tremendous potential, Charlie represents the same values we hold dear at Adams Allsorts: passion, precision, and a commitment to excellence.
A Brilliant First Year in 2025
Charlie had a fantastic debut year in 2025, competing in numerous tournaments and really finding his way in the game. What makes Charlie's journey particularly impressive is that he spent most of 2025 playing on the adult circuit – a testament to his skill level and competitive spirit.
Taking on very high standard players throughout the year has accelerated Charlie's development and given him invaluable experience competing at a serious level. This baptism of fire has prepared him brilliantly for the challenges ahead.
Bolton Darts Academy Success
Charlie attends Bolton Darts Academy, where he's been honing his skills under excellent coaching. His hard work and dedication paid off in 2025 when he won both Players player of the Year and Coach's Player of the Year – a remarkable double achievement that speaks volumes about his talent and commitment to the sport.
Bolton Darts Academy does a brilliant job developing young talent, and we're proud to support their players. We already sponsor another incredible young player who's come through the ranks at Bolton Darts Academy – Kian Ashworth – and we're delighted to now be backing Charlie as well.
Quarter-Final Success at the Joseph Holt Open
Charlie's form is looking strong heading into 2026. Just days ago on 3rd January, Charlie put in some really excellent performances at the Joseph Holt Open at Rogue's Sports Bar, reaching the quarter-finals. He only lost to Nathan Care, a very good player who has just attended PDC Q School – a clear indication of the calibre of opposition Charlie is now facing and the level he's competing at. Also well done to Kian on reaching the quarter final of this event, Showing great form heading into 2026.
Supporting Charlie's 2026 Journey
We're excited to be supporting Charlie throughout 2026 as he takes his game to the next level. This promises to be a pivotal year in Charlie's development as a competitive player, with some major opportunities on the horizon.
JDC Q School – A Major Milestone
Charlie will be attending the prestigious JDC (Junior Darts Corporation) Q School on the 24th and 25th January, where he'll be competing for an advanced tour card for 2026. This is a significant opportunity that could open doors to higher-level competition, and we're backing Charlie every step of the way.
2026 Competition Schedule
Throughout 2026, Charlie will be competing across multiple circuits including:
- JDC (Junior Darts Corporation) – competing at the highest level of youth darts
- PDC Development Tour
- ADC circuit – building experience and ranking points
- Local events – representing our community and continuing to hone his skills
It's going to be an action-packed year, and we couldn't be more excited to be part of Charlie's journey.
Why We're Proud to Sponsor Charlie
At Adams Allsorts, we believe in investing in our community and supporting the next generation of talent. Charlie's dedication, sportsmanship, and ambition embody everything we value. Watching him compete against adult players and hold his own against opponents competing at PDC level shows us that this young man has what it takes to go far in the sport.
We're honoured to help Charlie pursue his dreams in competitive darts and can't wait to see what he achieves in 2026 and beyond.
Join us in wishing Charlie the very best of luck at JDC Q School on 24-25 January and throughout the 2026 season. We'll be sharing updates on Charlie's progress and tournament results, so stay tuned!
Here's to a fantastic year ahead, Charlie – Keep going and enjoy it 🎯
