The Maison & White large shot glasses in a set of 12, each with a 60ml capacity and approximately 9cm tall with a thick base. Dishwasher safe. 2-year warranty included.

Why You’ll Love It

• The Maison & White 60ml capacity doubles the standard 25–30ml shot glass volume, providing enough room for a layered two-spirit shot or a generous single measure served with ice without the glass appearing half-empty, and making the glasses suitable for both standard spirit measures and larger serves without needing a separate larger glass — Standard 25ml shot glasses fill to the brim with a single measure, leaving no room for ice, a second layer or a garnish, and look disproportionately small when used for a generous spirit serve that the drinker wants to sip rather than shoot — the 60ml capacity of these glasses provides enough volume to hold a 25ml or 35ml measure with room remaining for a second liquid layer, a small amount of ice or a citrus garnish, making them versatile enough for both shots and short sipping serves without requiring a different glass.
• The Maison & White thick base on each glass provides stability on a surface and a comfortable grip during handling, reducing the risk of the glass tipping when knocked lightly on a busy table and giving the glass a more substantial feel than thin-based alternatives of the same capacity — Thin-based shot glasses have a low centre of gravity and a small footprint that makes them easy to knock over when a table is crowded with drinks and guests are reaching across it, and the thin base makes the glass feel lightweight and insubstantial when held — the thick base on these Maison & White glasses lowers the centre of gravity and widens the contact area with the surface, making the glasses more stable on a crowded table, and gives each glass a solid, weighted feel in the hand that reads as higher quality than a thin-walled alternative.
• The Maison & White dishwasher-safe construction allows the full set of 12 glasses to be cleaned in a single dishwasher cycle after a party without hand washing each glass individually, which is practical when all 12 have been used in a single evening and need to be ready for use again quickly — Hand-washing 12 shot glasses individually after a party requires each glass to be washed, rinsed and dried separately, which takes significantly longer than loading a dishwasher and leaves the glasses out of use until the hand-washing session is complete — the dishwasher-safe glass construction of these Maison & White glasses allows all 12 to be loaded into the dishwasher together after use and returned to service as soon as the cycle finishes, with no individual hand washing required.
