Care & Use

Write on clean, dry slate for the best result. Wipe clean and dry before rewriting; lettering may need refreshing after rain, watering or handling. Permanent or waterproof writing is not guaranteed. Handle the slate carefully around its edges and pre-drilled hole.

Thread the label onto the rod from the straight end and guide it around the hook. Insert rods gently into soft, loose soil, avoiding roots; do not hammer them into hard or frozen ground or press down on the slate. Position away from paths, children and pets. Stainless steel is not a guarantee against all corrosion; clean and dry before seasonal storage.
