The Maison & White crisping basket’s open steel mesh construction allows hot oven air to circulate fully around every surface of the food — top, bottom and all sides simultaneously — delivering the same even, all-round crispness to chicken pieces, oven fries, mozzarella dippers and other breaded or battered foods that a conventional solid baking tray cannot achieve because the base of the food sits directly on the tray surface, preventing heat and airflow from reaching the underside. The Maison & White basket measures 32cm x 22.5cm x 8cm and has a non-stick coating that prevents food from bonding to the mesh surface during cooking. The included baking tray sits beneath the basket to catch drips and cooking residue, protecting the oven base and eliminating cleaning inside the oven after cooking.
