Care & Use

Wash before first use. Hand-wash gently, rinse both chambers thoroughly and allow them to dry fully before refilling. The original source contains conflicting dishwasher advice; hand-washing is recommended unless the manufacturer confirms otherwise. Avoid abrasive cleaners, sudden temperature changes and prolonged soaking of the corks.

Handle as fragile glassware and support the body when carrying, rather than lifting by the small top loop. Remove the appropriate stopper for pouring and keep the other chamber closed. Return the cruet upright after use; cork stoppers are not a leakproof transport seal. Follow the storage guidance for the oil or vinegar used, and keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Do not use chipped or cracked glass.
