An Extendable Oval Dining Table in White — Particleboard and Steel, 140–180W x 80D x 75H cm, Seats 4–6, 100kg Capacity, Melamine-Coated Top, Rounded Edges, Steel Guide Rails, Extension Board Stores Under Tabletop

Seat four to six people at this extendable oval dining table in white, constructed from particleboard with a steel frame, measuring 140cm wide unextended and extending to 180cm wide via smooth steel guide rails, at a constant 80cm depth and 75cm height. The 80W x 40D cm extension board inserts into the centre of the table to extend the seating length and stores neatly beneath the tabletop when not in use, keeping the table at 140cm for everyday use and extending to 180cm for larger gatherings. The melamine-coated tabletop is scratch-resistant and wipes clean after meals. Rounded oval edges remove sharp corners across the full perimeter of the table. Non-slip felt pads protect the floor surface at all four leg bases. The particleboard structure supports up to 100kg. Suitable as a dining table or meeting table. Assembly required. Item Ref: 83A-602V00WT.

Why You’ll Love It

Extends from 140cm to 180cm via steel guide rails to seat 4 at daily use size and up to 6 for gatherings without buying a second table — The dining table’s steel guide rail extension mechanism allows the tabletop to slide open smoothly from 140cm to 180cm for the 80W x 40D cm extension board to be inserted at the centre — providing a 140cm four-person everyday dining table that occupies less floor space in a kitchen or dining room than a fixed 180cm table, while still accommodating six people when needed for family meals, dinner parties or holiday gatherings, without requiring a separate folding table or additional piece of furniture to be brought into the room and set up.
Extension board stores under the tabletop so it is always available and does not require separate cupboard space — The dining table’s 80W x 40D cm extension board clips or slides into a storage position beneath the tabletop when the table is at its 140cm unextended length, keeping the board immediately accessible when the table needs to be extended without searching for it in a cupboard or storage area, and preventing the board from warping, scratching or accumulating dust in storage — a practical advantage over extension tables that require the board to be stored separately and retrieved each time the table is extended.
Melamine-coated surface wipes clean in seconds and resists everyday scratching from plates, cutlery and cups — The dining table’s melamine coating bonds a hard resin layer to the particleboard tabletop surface that resists the fine surface scratches caused by ceramic plates, stainless steel cutlery and glass bases sliding across the table during daily meals — maintaining the appearance of the white tabletop over extended use without requiring a tablecloth to protect the surface, and allowing food spills, sauce marks and drink rings to be wiped away with a damp cloth without the liquid soaking into the surface or leaving a permanent stain on the white finish.
