A Chest of 8 Fabric Drawers — Available in Natural Wood Finish, Rustic Brown and Grey — Non-Woven Fabric, Steel X-Bar Frame and Particleboard, 80x30x94.5cm, 30kg Capacity, Side Storage Pocket, 2 Hooks, Anti-Tipping Kit, Foldable Drawers

A tall chest of eight equal-sized fabric drawers in a choice of three colour finishes — natural wood, rustic brown or grey — constructed from non-woven fabric drawers on a powder-coated steel frame with X-bar cross bracing and a particleboard top panel, measuring 80cm wide, 30cm deep and 94.5cm tall. All eight drawers are the same internal size: 37W x 28D x 20H cm, each fitted with a fabric handle. A side storage pocket measuring 29W x 86H cm runs the full height of the chest on the side panel, providing additional storage for flat or rolled items. Two hanging hooks are also included for accessories, bags or clothing. An anti-tipping wall-fixing kit is included for safe securing to a wall. All drawers are foldable and collapse flat for storage when the chest is not in use or for transport. Adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors. Ground clearance is 5.5cm. Maximum load: 30kg total, 15kg on the top panel and 3kg per individual drawer. Assembly required. Item Ref: 83D-064V06ND (Natural Wood) / 83D-064V06RB (Rustic Brown) / 83D-064V06GY (Grey).

Why You’ll Love It

Eight identical 37x28x20cm drawers allow clothing to be distributed evenly across categories without any drawer being too shallow or too deep for its contents — The chest’s eight drawers, all measuring 37W x 28D x 20H cm, provide a consistent storage depth and height across all eight compartments, allowing clothing categories to be assigned one per drawer — for example: t-shirts, jumpers, jeans, shorts, socks, underwear, gym wear and pyjamas — with each drawer accommodating a typical folded clothing stack to the same depth and height without the contents overflowing the shallower drawers or sitting loose in the deeper ones that occur in chests where drawer sizes vary between rows.
Side storage pocket and two hooks use the dead space beside the chest to store and hang additional items without requiring extra floor space — The chest’s 29W x 86H cm side storage pocket, running the full height of the unit on the side panel, uses the wall-adjacent side face of the chest to store flat or rolled items — such as scarves, belts, rolled t-shirts or a laundry bag — that do not fill a full drawer, while the two included hanging hooks on the same side panel provide a place to hang bags, dressing gowns, tomorrow’s outfit or a towel immediately beside the chest without requiring a separate hook rail, stand or door hook to be added to the room.
Anti-tipping wall-fixing kit and X-bar steel frame address the stability requirements of a 94.5cm tall chest in a bedroom with children or pets — The chest’s steel frame with X-bar cross bracing provides lateral rigidity across the full 80cm width and 94.5cm height of the unit to resist the racking forces that cause a tall unsupported fabric chest to lean or tip when drawers are opened on one side, while the included anti-tipping wall-fixing kit allows the chest to be anchored to a wall stud for permanent tip-over prevention in a bedroom where children may pull on open drawers or climb the front of the unit — addressing the furniture tip-over hazard that is most relevant for tall freestanding storage units in rooms used by young children.
