Care & Use

Place on a firm, level indoor floor with enough room for the lid and pedal to operate. Follow the manual when engaging or releasing the stay-open position, and keep fingers clear of the lid and hinge. Do not force the lid against the closing mechanism or stand on the pedal, lid or body.

Empty regularly and clean spills promptly. Remove the inner bucket for cleaning with a mild solution suitable for the materials, rinse as appropriate and dry before refitting. Wipe the exterior with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly; avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals and prolonged soaking of the steel body or mechanism.

Use a suitable liner, avoid overfilling and do not place hot ash or burning materials inside. Keep packaging and loose liners away from children and pets.
