Confirm measurements against the appliance before cutting or building an opening. Fit both feet correctly for freestanding use and position on a stable, suitable surface. Keep vents uncovered and curtains, bedding, furniture and other combustible materials at the distances specified in the manual. Do not dry clothing on the fire or use its top as a shelf. Overheat protection does not replace supervision or mean the outlet and surrounding areas remain cool. Keep children and pets clear of hot airflow, and follow the electrical connection and cable-routing instructions.

Switch off, unplug and allow the appliance to cool before cleaning. Clean glass and body gently as directed, avoiding abrasives and moisture entering electrical components. ECO, thermostat and timer functions offer control over operation; running costs depend on selected output, runtime and electricity tariff rather than a guaranteed saving.
