Care & Safe Use

Recommended for children aged 6–12 years, not as a cot or toddler bed. An adult should assemble the frame according to the manual, check that all slats and fittings are secure and inspect and retighten fixings periodically. Use on a level indoor floor and follow the supplied mattress-size and thickness guidance.

Do not exceed the 100kg bed load or allow jumping, climbing or hanging from the roof frame. The decorative upper structure is not a climbing frame or a load-bearing rail. The bed rating does not apply to the drawers, which should not be used as seats or steps.

The supplier presents the upper frame as a place for optional canopies, mosquito nets or light strings, but these are not included. Only add accessories where the bed manual and accessory instructions permit, ensuring that cords, loops, loose fabric and electrical leads cannot create entanglement or other hazards. Keep the bed away from blind cords, heaters and open flames.

Keep fingers clear when opening and closing drawers. Wipe the frame with a soft, lightly damp cloth and dry promptly; avoid soaking the wood or using abrasive cleaners.
